The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) started Friday’s session with positive momentum across various indices, with a total turnover of 7.43 million RON (1.49 million euros) within the first 50 minutes of trading.
The primary BET index, reflecting the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an increase of 0.35%, while the BET-Plus index, tracking the movement of the 43 most liquid shares, rose by 0.32%.
Simultaneously, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, comprising the 25 most liquid securities, experienced a gain of 0.33%, whereas the investment funds benchmark, BET-BK, showed a slight decline of 0.05%.
The BET-FI index for SIFs demonstrated growth of 0.27%, and the BET-NG index, focusing on the energy and utilities sector, surged by 0.39%.
Based on BVB data, notable increases in share value were observed for Oil Terminal (+1.63%), Farmaceutica Remedia (+1.45%), and BRD (+1.15%). Conversely, Electrocontact (-12.62%), COMCM Constanta (-10.71%), and Romcab (-6.10%) experienced declines.
